Dr. Sharon H. Porter (Dr. Sharon) , resides in the Washington, DC area and is the President of SHP Enterprise, Inc, the umbrella entity for Perfect Time SHP LLC, Coaching, Consulting, and Book Publishing Firm., The G.R.I.N.D. Entrepreneur Network,  Write the Book Now, and SHP Media and Broadcasting. She is the host of the I Am Dr. Sharon Radio Show and host and creator of five podcasts.  Dr. Sharon is the Executive Director of The Next In Line to Lead Aspiring Principals Leadership Academy (APLA) and Founder of Young Ladies Who L.E.A.D.

 

Dr. Sharon is the author of The Power of Networking: How to Achieve Success With Business Networking, Next In Line to Lead: The Voice of the Assistant Principal, Class of 2017 What’s Next?”  the  Women Who Lead: Book Series, North Carolina Girls Living In A Maryland World, Fifty & Fabolous, and author and visionary for the HBCU Experience Anthology Book series.

Dr. Sharon has served as an educator for over 25 years in the role of a classroom teacher, assistant principal, elementary and middle school principal, central office administrator, and  Leadership Coach for novice school administrators. 

 

She is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University, National-Louis University, The Johns Hopkins University, Walden University, and Howard University.

 

Dr. Sharon holds a National Association of Elementary School Principal Mentor Certification and is a Certified Gallup-Strengths Coach.

 

She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, International Association of Women (IAW),  Association of Women in Business,  Professional Women of Winston-Salem, an Official Member of the Forbes Coaches Council, and on the Board of Advisors for Envision. Lead. Grow.
